Matt Stabile

 

Matt Stabile, a founding member of Mangrove Creative Collective, is a Miami native who became addicted to Theatre during his formative years after hearing Peter Pan promise to “never grow up”. A high school graduate of NWSA, Matt moved on to SMU in Dallas, TX to earn his BFA in Theatre Studies, specializing in Playwriting, Directing, and Scenic Design. In 2004, Matt returned to South Florida and would later join the theatre faculty at G-Star School of the Arts, serving as Department Chair for the final three years of his tenure. Mr. Stabile works closely with the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, serving as a teaching artist for multiple programs, and was selected as the Kravis Center’s Outstanding Local Teacher for May 2013. He is a passionate advocate for arts and education in South Florida and looks forward to helping to inspire a new generation of theatregoers in South Florida.
